A total of five cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been confirmed in Nigeria, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed late Sunday.

In a post on its Twitter handle, the centre said two new cases were each recorded in Lagos and Kwara states, while one was recorded in Katsina State.

This brings the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Nigeria to 323.
Out of the 323 cases, Lagos State has recorded the highest number with 176, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 56, Osun State with 20, Edo State has 12, Oyo State with 11, Ogun State has seven, Bauchi and Kaduna states have six each, Akwa Ibom and Katsina states with five respectively, Kwara State has four, Delta with three; Enugu, Ekiti, Rivers, Ondo states with two each; and Benue, Niger, Anambra and Kano states have one respectively.
