Five persons were on Friday stabbed at a shopping centre in Manchester, England. A footage, which was shared on social media, showed police using taser on a man out the building.
Police in Greater Manchester have confirmed that five people were stabbed in the attack, and have now been taken to hospital.
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of being the attacker. The UK Counter Terrorism Police North West, and officers are “keeping an open mind” about the motive, a GMP spokesperson said.
According to Metro.UK, photographs from the scene show heavy police presence inside Starbucks, with curtains rolled up around the seating area.

North West Ambulance Service said they treated four people on-site, while witnesses say they saw one person in a “critical” condition.
One person wrote on Twitter: “Three people just got stabbed in the Starbucks in Manchester Arndale and it’s all been evacuated. This is actually crazy.”
Another said: “Just been evacuated from the Arndale. Scary stuff. Instant lock-down by staff. Sirens everywhere.”
The third added: “Went to change my trainers at the Arndale, ended up being screamed at to run and get out as there’s been a stabbing and someone’s running around with a knife.”

The GMP spokesperson said the suspect has been taken into custody for questioning, and appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
Other shops, including the one the attack took place on Market Street have been shut down, while the workers have been told to go home for the day.
David Allinson, centre director of the shopping centre, said: “The centre has been evacuated while police investigate the incident.
“‘We are unable to comment any further as the incident is currently being handled by Greater Manchester Police, who we will continue to support with their investigation.”
