Ayodele Fayose, a former Ekiti State governor, has announced the death of Moji Ladeji, his elder sister.

He made the announcement via a tweet on Monday.
“On behalf of my family, I announce the death of my immediate elder sister, Mrs Moji Ladeji. She died today, after a brief illness.

“We are pained by your departure, but consoled by the God-fearing and exemplary life that you lived. May the soul of Sister Moji rest in peace,” he tweeted.
Ladeji had been on the wanted list of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over a N200 million house located at 44 Osun Crescent, Maitama, Abuja, a highbrow area in the nation’s capital.

The commission said the house, with documents bearing the name of Ladeji, is a cover up for Fayose, who is thought to own the house.
