Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, has alleged that a former Nigerian head of state worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the foreign intelligence agency of the United States; and MI6 (Military Intelligence, Section 6), the British foreign intelligence agency, against Nigerian interests.

Fani-Kayode made the claim in a Twitter post on Saturday.
The former minister, however, declined to mention the name of the said former head of state.
According to the former presidential spokesperson, the former leader deliberately put American and British interests ahead of that of his own country, Nigeria.
He expressed hope that the former leader “will be fully exposed to the Nigerian people one day”.
A former Head of State of Nigeria was an asset of the CIA & MI6. He worked for the British & the Americans when he led our country. He put the American & British interest before the Nigerian one. This man will be fully exposed to the Nigerian people one day. I will see to that.
