Four people died Friday in an accident involving one of the cars in the convoy of the emir of Lafia, Mustapha Agwai I. The deceased, alongside the monarch were heading to Bauchi state when the accident occurred around Tilden Fulani, in Toro Local Government area of the state. The affected vehicle was said to have suddenly lost a tyre while on motion, a situation that caused it to skid and somersault severally. Lafia palace officials have identified the dead as Isa Jaja, Waziri Yakubu, Sani Dogari (head of palace guards) and Wakilin Magidadin Lafia. They were all buried in the evening.
