The Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has condemned Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State over his comments on Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Newsbreak Nigeria recalls that Ortom, had during the governorship rally in his state, attacked Fulanis, while saying Atiku should to go hell.
Reacting to the statement, Peter Obi, via his Twitter handle, said “We should not refer to people in such derogatory manner.”
He said, “The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, remain a very patriotic Nigerian, who has always spoken for the best interest of his people and Nigeria in general. We all have our shortcomings, I have mine, and so do others. But, we should not refer to people in such derogatory manner.”
