France striker, Olivier Giroud has made good his promise to shave his head in the event of France winning the 2018 World Cup.
Before the tournament in Russia, some players in the Les Bleus team, pledged to do something unusual if they managed to guide their country to its second World Cup trophy.
Giroud, Nabil Fekir, and Hugo Lloris promised to shave their hair off, while Juventus’ midfielder, Blaise Matuidi vowed to cycle from Paris to Turin.
The team eventually emerged World champions eight days ago, after overcoming Croatia 4-2 in the final of the tournament.
The Chelsea forward was true to his word as he unveiled his new hairstyle on social media on Sunday, posting alongside it a picture of himself with the World Cup trophy.
