David Oyedepo, bishop of the Living Faith Church worldwide, says the high tuition fees charged at the Covent University is ordained by God.
Oyedepo, therefore, warned critics to desist from deploring the school management. The Covent University is owned by the billionaire Bishop.
The clergy spoke in a telecast ahead of the 2016 edition of Shiloh, an annual convention of the church.
“The school fees has God’s approval and is in accordance with the quality of facilities provided by the university in meeting the educational needs of the nation,” Oyedepo said.
He said the university was a godly agenda to meet the demands of raising godly children in an environment conducive for learning, and prayed for resources for parents to “always meet the demands of the time”.
The bishop said a critic of the high fees paid at the school was plagued with chronic mouth odour and was only healed of it through a spiritual pardon. He said the confession of the said critic and “my intervention before he was restored to dignity” healed him.
TheCable adds in its report that a fresh student at the university is expected to pay N799,500 per session.
