In attendance were chief imams of different mosques and associations, as well as Emir of Gwandu, Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, deputy governor Samaila Dabai and other top government officials. Verses were recited from the Holy Qur’an, while Muktaru Abdullahi Wali-Gwandu, chief imam of Birnin Kebbi Central Mosque, led the prayer.
