Gunmen on Tuesday attacked the Ehime Mbano Local Government Area Divisional Police Headquarters in Imo just a day after attacking the Owerri Corectional Centre and the State Police Command headquarters.
The gunmen were said to have freed all suspects detained at the facility before setting it ablaze.
The attack came after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Mohammed Adamu, who was today removed as Inspector-General of Police, and some government officials visited the state to inspect the site of the attack.
