Members of Synagogue Church of All Nations were still in shock on Sunday that Temitope Balogun Joshua, the church’s founder, popularly known as Prophet T.B. Joshua, has died, hours after the demise was made public.
Hundreds of the members gathered at the church situated in the Ikotun area of Lagos State early on Sunday to ascertain if truly T.B. Joshua is no more.
Some of the members who spoke with Newsbreak faulted the church management for announcing the death of their spiritual father immediately after he died. They said the news supposed to have been withheld for two days before the world will know about it.
Most members who came to the church premises were still in shock that T.B. Joshua died so early in life without finishing most work they claimed God has given him to do on earth.
It was crying and wailing as members were seen in a sober mood at the church premises
“This is a sad news of the year for me. Three days ago he still performed a miracle on me and now he is dead. It is hard to believe,” said an elderly Igbo woman who refused to give her name.
“T.B. Joshua is our Jesus Christ at this end time. I strongly believe God has the power to bring him back to life if He so desires,” the woman lamented.
Meanwhile, the magnificent church auditorium was under lock Sunday morning to mourn the death of T.B. Joshua when Newsbreak was at the church premises.
