Popular Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, better known as Harrysong, has shaded his colleague, Timaya for saying Nigerian celebrities wear fake stuff.
On Friday, Timaya made the social media buzzing after posting video on Instagram saying that many celebrities are friends to tailors and they don’t wear original items.
In the video, the ‘I Can’t Kill Myself’ singer addressed people who have been comparing him with other artistes.

Timaya’s post, however, generated several backlashes on social media. Some critics went ahead to blast the singer, saying he has forgotten his root and how he started as a musician.
However, reacting to Timaya’s claims about some celebrities wearing fake stuff, the Alter Plate boss, took to his Instagram page to admonish Timaya to stay humble and not shade those that cannot afford to buy expensive stuff.
He went on to say that he is wearing an expensive, but will bot brag about it.

“Tomorrow I go wear 50k shirt from my tailor, na my body. Be humble, remember your roots.”
