Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, has described Sunday Adeyemo, a Yoruba rights activist popularly known as Sunday Igboho, as the person who “represents the heart, soul & spirit of Oduduwa today”.
Fani-Kayode said this in a Twitter post on Monday in reaction to the attack on the residence of Igboho in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
According to BBC Yoruba, unknown gunmen attacked and shot sporadically at Igboho’s house at about 1:00am on Monday.
Reacting, Fani-Kayode condemned the attack, saying Igboho is a courageous and inspirational individual to millions of Yoruba persons who fears no one and will not be easily intimidated to shred his beliefs.
The former minister warned that the killing of the Yoruba rights activist will only lead to chaos and anarchy in the country.
Chief Sunday Igboho Osha represents the heart, soul & spirit of Oduduwa today. His name is synonymous with courage, strength, discipline & fortitude. He fears none & bows to none. He is an inspiration, pride& joy to millions. Killing him will lead to chaos, carnage& catastrophy.
