A humanitarian and Southwest-based healthcare worker, Dr. Sheriffdeen Ewunuga, has launched a campaign, ‘Support The Physically Challenged Today’, to assist people living with disabilities.

Newsbreak.ng reports that his targets are people with vision impairment and blindness.

Dr. Ewunuga says individuals ‘out of total light’ should be roundly supported because “they need us”.

“Disability shouldn’t be a deterrent to successful life endeavours, it should be a fuel to aiming for the best.

“We have mapped out two schools of the blind at Surulere, Lagos, that we want to support.

“Support can be teaching materials, food, clothing, shoes, and cash,” Dr. Ewunuga told this news medium.
