How my wife threatened me to marry her – Charly Boy

Charles Oputa Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, a Nigerian songwriter/singer and television producer, has revealed how his wife, Diane, threatened him to  marry her. Charly Boy and Diane, a South American, have been married for 37 years. The controversial Charly Boy, in a Facebook post, Tuesday, says “that even though we dated for a while, in my wildest dream I never saw her coming till one morning after sleeping over, she woke me up, looked me straight into my sleepy eyes and demanded that I marry her in the next few days or she will leave me. Wow! Before then, no one ever treatend (sic) me like that, no one ever gave me ultimatums. Who born them. Me Charly Boy?”.

Charly Boy explained it never occurred to him that he would marry Diane. “When I met my wife, she was not even a girlfriend or a lover. I liked her physically, because she had and still have curves that men would die for, but she was never my idea of a wife”, he says.  Despite his lack of commitment to Diane, due to “many failed relationships and marriages”, she kept hanging around me like other beautiful women, it was more or less a platonic relationship”. At the time, Charly Boy states he didn’t know his wife, who he refers to as Lady D, had investigated him and was aware he of his “violent temper” and “had witnessed me a few times in my rage with other women”.

He claimed to have asked her, “Ain’t you afraid that I will hurt or harm you”, to which he says she answered, “you can never hurt or harm me because I will never give you a reason to” hummmmmm!!! Oh!”
