He was said to have lied to the driver that his ATM card was not with him and begged to be allowed to transfer money into the driver’s account. He therefore entered the Zenith Bank on Admiralty Way, Lekki then emerged minutes later to present the driver a stamped pay slip that supposedly confirmed he’d transferred N1.5 million to the driver’s account. Even though the driver didn’t get an alert, the slip convinced him that the payment must have been made and that a bank alert would eventually come in.
Prince was driven around Lagos while he purchased different items with the driver’s card, including an iPhone. He was said to have also bought items worth hundreds of thousands from the driver’s brother’s shop, where his face was captured by the CCTV.
