Frank Sanchez defeated Efe Ajagba to hand the Nigerian his first professional career defeat in a bout decided early hours of Sunday, 10 October at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in USA.

The 27-year-old Nigerian Olympian, Ajagba, who survived the whole duration of the fight to the tenth round lost to Sanchez who proved to be a stronger fighter.
The bout was an undercard event leading to the heavyweight title trilogy showdown between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury that was tagged the ‘Battle of the Undefeated
According to the commentators, it was a one-sided fight where “Sanchez gave Ajagba a boxing lesson. It was a teacher-student fight.”
By unanimous decision, Frank Sanchez, the Cuban Flash, was declared the winner. Ajagba did score a knockdown, but himself was knocked down, and lost the fight by a unanimous decision.
Sanchez remains undefeated with 20 professional wins, 13 coming by Knock Out retaining his WBC Continental Americas heavyweight title and the WBO NABO heavyweight title.
Efe Ajagba is a Nigerian professional boxer who holds the record for the fastest victory in boxing history after his opponent Curtis Harper, was disqualified for leaving the ring one second after the opening bell in a fight that was held on 24 August, 2018.
