Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has revealed that she recently suffered a miscarriage.
The actress made this disclosure in an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Rubbin Minds’. The interview was monitored by Newsbreak.ng.
She also said people usually ask her when she will have another baby despite having a son and a stepdaughter with her husband, Kola Ajeyemi. According to her, when the time is right, she will conceive and have another child.
Responding to a question about comments made at the time of the miscarriage about her weight, Abraham said she was body-shamed.
“I was actually pregnant, but I lost it. When it happened, I cried. I just wanted to have one or two more children and I’m done.
“Things happened. I was so bloated and everyone kept battering me! Saying ‘Look at you! You are too fat! Look at your husband! He is young.’ But they don’t understand, so when they say all these things, guess what? I’m used to it. As an actress, you just have to or else you will just die of depression.
“Once I see it and if I am not okay with the comment and you keep going, I will just block you. I don’t have time for negative energy,” she said.
