2face has reacted to the allegations of song theft former band mate, Blackface, levelled against him. The Hypertek boss, who spoke with Channels TV, expressed disappointment at Blackface’s claims saying he initially thought his account was hacked. He promised that the issue would be settled amicably.
“My brother it’s just so unfortunate. I don’t know where it is coming from. I’m trying to think of different reasons. I thought maybe his account was hacked or something. Apparently it wasn’t hacked, so we’ll trash the whole matter.
“But I’ve got nothing but love and respect for him and it’s just so unfortunate that he’s coming at me like that.’
“Apparently he doesn’t consider me his friend anymore but I wish him no ill-will. Let’s leave it like that for now,” he said.
Recall that Blackface had taken to his Twitter account to accuse 2face of stealing his songs and giving his manager, Efe Omorogbe, credit. Blackface had also accused Wizkid of stealing his song and re-working into Ojuelegba, his hit song. Alleging a gang-up against him in the music industry, he threatened to sue the acts for unauthorised use of his songs.
