Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, has maintained his administration will not negotiate with criminals or bandits but will face the wrath of the law unless they turn a new leaf.
Speaking on Saturday in a Christmas message at St Rose Catholic Parish in his country home Omuma in Oru-East Local Government Area, Uzodimma, added that criminals should in the spirit of Christmas repent or would be crushed.
“Government is no longer joking with bandits and hoodlums,” adding that they should in the spirit of Christmas repent or they would be crushed,” he said.
Uzodimma expressed sympathy for the Imolites for the humiliation they have suffered in the hands of the criminals and bandits and prayed it would not happen again.
While wishing Imo people a merry Christmas and prosperous new year, he asked all to go about their normal businesses without fear of molestation or intimidation.
