General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, former military President of Nigeria, will on Friday, May 12, 2017, give out his last daughter, Halimat, in marriage in Minna, Niger State.

Halimat, the second daughter and last child of the family will be marrying lover, Auwal Lawal Abdullahi, a businessman and a traditional chief, Sarkin Sudan Gombe.

The wedding prayers will hold at IBB’s Hilltop Villa in Minna while arrangements have been concluded to invite dignitaries across the country.

Meanwhile, Philip Ayuba, state Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Wednesday said at least 135 personnel have been deployed to provide security during the wedding.

Also, Zubairu Mu’azu, Commissioner of police said 4000 officers will stand guard on the highways, major roads, airport and strategic areas of the ceremony.
