Muhammed Adamu, the Inspector-General of Police, has disbanded the Zonal Intervention Squad, Obada-Oko, Ogun State, over the killing of Tiamiyu Kazeem, a player of Remo Stars Football Club.
Peter Ogunyonwo, Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Criminal Investigations Department Force Headquarters, made the announcement on behalf of the IG while on a condolence visit with Governor Dapo Abiodun to the parents of the deceased in Sagamu.
Ogunyonwo added that the ZIS office would be handed over to the Ogun State Police Command.

Tiamiyu was reportedly killed by a hit-and-run driver after he was thrown out of a moving operational vehicle of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) on the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway on Saturday.
