Ex-Super Eagles striker, Jude Ighalo, has been shortlisted in the 10-man list for the 2019 CAF Player Of The Year Award.
The shortlist was produced from the 30-man list released by the continental football body about two weeks ago.
Ighalo finished as the highest goal scorer in the continent for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He also finished as the top scorer in the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt with five goals.

The Shaghai Shenhua hitman will now compete with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane for the award.
Despite calling it quit with the Nigerian national team, the former Watford attacker is still scoring goals in the Chinese Super Lig. He has netted 10 goals in 17 matches so far this season.
Meanwhile, Eagles’ in-form striker, Victor Osimhen, and midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, were dropped from latest list.
