Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has lamented the high cost of living in the country.
Jegede, in a post on social media, said she was forced to spend more than N7,000 to fuel her car within days.
She stated that the situation made her think about Nigerians who earn between N150,000 to N200,000 monthly.
“I ran out of fuel a few days ago and 7,000 worth of fuel didn’t get half the tank. 4days later I want to buy fuel again . This got me thinking about people on salary people earn 150-200k a month, if they spend 7, 000×4=28, 000 for fuel alone, what’s left to save, for rent, feeding, school fees? I am praying for my country,” she said.
