Angry youths from Nnung Ikono Obio in the Oruan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State have stormed the family house of Uduak Akpan, suspected killer of Iniubong Umoren, the job seeker that was recently found dead after she went for an interview, and arrested his father on Tuesday.
The mob were said to have first set ablaze the security post before vandalising the building and looting properties in the premises. They then handed over the father of the suspect to the police.
Also, students of the Faculty of Arts in the University of Uyo held a procession in honour of the deceased. Wearing black, they urged Martha Udom Emmanuel, wife of the state governor, to ensure justice is served in the case.
The 26-year-old graduate of Philisophy from the University of Uyo was allegedly lured, abducted and sexually abused to death by Akpan, who hails from the local government.
