Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide has alleged that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party will rather lose the 2023 presidential election than to disobey the Monday sit-at-home order imposed by IPOB.
Making his claim in a tweet on Monday, Omokri argued that Obi’s allegiance is first to IPOB before Nigeria.
He explained that the presidential candidate will rather disenfranchise himself than defy the sit-at-home order of South-East separatist group, IPOB.
“Even if INEC fixes the election for a Monday, Peter Obi will rather lose and not vote for himself, than defy IPOB’s sit-at-home by coming out to vote. Is that who you want as President? A man whose first and greatest allegiance is to IPOB before Nigeria? Tufiakwa!” he wrote.
Omokri’s comment comes as he continues to allege that Peter Obi supports the deadly activities of the separatist group.
