Batch C beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N-Power scheme have started receiving payment for the month of March 2022 (since last week), Newsbreak can confirm.
A graduate beneficiary of the scheme, Dupe Jimi who shared the update with this online news medium on Tuesday morning disclosed that the several of her colleagues have also received payment.
Another beneficiary simply identified as Maryam, also corroborated Jimi’s claim.
However, many beneficiaries are still yet to get paid February and March stipends.
Sending a message to the government, Idorenyin Barnabas told Newsbreak: “Some beneficiaries’ February stipend is still showing fail. I urge NASIMS to do something about it.”
Similarly, Iniepre Tarighabo, from Bayelsa State, stated on social media: “NASIMS, please my March payment status is showing failed, and no action taken which I’ve not experienced since the beginning of this program. I know it can be rectified. I use FCMB. Thanks.”
Responding to payment complaints, the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) said recently on Facebook: “Having gone through complaints sent in through the comment section, we deemed it worthwhile to restate the deployed clearing pattern of the outstanding payments;
“While March Payment has successfully been initiated, please note that, THOSE WHOSE ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED ARE BEING PAID OUT GRADUALLY. You’ll be paid as soon as the issue that resulted in the delay/fail in payment of your stipend is resolved. Apologies for the delay!”
