“Is That The Way You Speak To Your Mother,” Female Judge Blasts EFCC Lawyer

Justice Mrs Solebo of the Special Offences Court at Ikeja has allegedly been caught on audio recording lambasting an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) prosecutor.

In the audio clip listened to by Newsbreak Nigeria, Justice Solebo was heard accusing the yet-to-be-identified EFCC prosecutor of lies.

She said, “If you continue to lie like this, you won’t go places. Obvious lies? Excuse me, it is not good for your image. You are turning your eyes, turning your head like a woman selling peanut in the market.”

The prosecutor, however, objected to being referred to as a “market woman”.

This didn’t go well with the Justice who asked, “Is that the wsy you speak to your mother?”

This is Justice Mrs Solebo of the Special Offences Court at Ikeja, Lagos speaking to an EFCC Prosecutor.

For almost 5yrs she sat at the Bench doing EFCC bidding as well as acting as Prosecutor and Judge in EFCC cases against Defendants.
