Stella Oduah, senator representing Anambra North district, has said it would amount to self-deceit for anyone to say President Muhammadu Buhari does not mean well for the South-east.
Speaking on her defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at the state party secretariat in Awka, Anambra State, Oduah commended Buhari for the level of “infrastructural developments his administration has executed in the South-east”.
The lawmaker claimed that she defected from the PDP to enable her attract more dividend of democracy to her constituents.
According to Oduah, who was represented by Amaka Ononuju, “any person who say president Mohamudu Buhari is not doing well in South East is not fair to himself and the zone”.
The former aviation minister also stated that the record of the many infrastructural developments done in the region by the APC-led federal government are there for anyone to see.
“It will amount to a self-deceit for anyone to say that President Muhammadu Buhari, and, APC do not mean well for the South East region,” she stated.
