Branislav Ivanovic has left Chelsea for Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg on a two-year deal. The Serbian defender had found life difficult at Stamford Bridge following Antonio Conte’s arrival.
He had joined the Blues from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008 and went ahead to win two Premier League titles and a Champions League.
Ivanovic joins Mircea Lucescu’s men looking to catch league leaders Spartak Moscow who are five points ahead.
