A man, Adekunle Adeyemi, is said to have stabbed his neighbour, Arinze Onuoha, to death at their residence on Red Block Street, Grammar School, Ikorodu, Lagos.

According to reports, Adeyemi admitted to Onuoha that he and his wife, Chisom, were having a sexual relationship leading to a fight between both men. Adeyemi fled the house after stabbing Onuoha to death.
PM Express reports that Glory Dickson, also a resident of the house, reported the matter at the Ikorodu Police Division.

The report said Bala Elkana, the Lagos State Police Police Public Relations Officer, said trouble started after Stanley Dickson, Glory’s husband, told Onuoha that Adeyemi was sleeping with his wife.

“This led to an argument and confrontation and in the process, Adeyemi stabbed Arinze with a knife on the left side of his chest. The victim was rushed to the Ikorodu General Hospital by sympathisers where he was confirmed dead and the corpse was brought back home,” Elkana was quoted to have said.

He added that the police have since commenced investigation and have started a manhunt for Adeyemi, who is now at large.
