The Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the domestic airline, Max Air, Alhaji Bishir Mangal, is dead.
Newsbreak.ng reports that Bishir, the younger brother of business mogul and Chairman of Max Air, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal, died in the early hours of Friday in Abuja after a brief illness.
This news medium understands that the funeral prayer for the deceased would take place this evening (Friday) in Kofar Kwaya, Katsina State, the residence of Alhaji Dahiru, in accordance with Islamic rites.
Condolence messages have been pouring in on social media following Bishir’s exit.
Among the prominent personalities who mourned late Bishir was Senator Abdu Yandoma, the Senatorial candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) for Daura zone, who wrote on his official Facebook page: “May Allah have mercy on him and make him rest in peace.
“On behalf of me and my family, we are sending our condolences to the family of Alhaji Bara’u Mangal.”
