Comedian Raju Srivastava has died in Delhi, India, at the age of 58.
Newsbreak.ng learnt that Srivastava died on Wednesday morning after suffering a heart attack in the gym last month.
“I got a call from the family about half an hour ago saying he is no more. It is really unfortunate news. He was fighting in the hospital for over 40 days,” his brother Dipoo Srivastava told the news agency, PTI.

He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on August 10 after experiencing chest pain & collapsing while working out at the gym.

The deceased started his career by appearing in small roles in several films, including Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya.
He became a household name after participating in the comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He later also entered the third season of Bigg Boss.
Until his sudden death, he was the chairman of the Film Development Council Uttar Pradesh.
