A former Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Taofeek Olayiwola, is dead.

Newsbreak.ng gathered that Olayiwola breathed his last on Wednesday morning at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, after a brief illness. He was 62.

The deceased was the state party secretary during the administration of late former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala.

Confirming his demise, the PDP state Public Relations Officer (PRO), Akeem Olatunji, described him as an easygoing person and a great politician who believed in ‘live and let live’.

A family source informed this news medium that the late Olayiwola would be buried later today (Wednesday), in accordance with Islamic rites.
