Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos police spokesperson, said suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of a sound engineer, Dave.

Newsbreak.ng reported that Dave was beaten, stripped and set ablaze by commercial motorcyclists (Okada riders) in the Lekki area of Lagos State following a disagreement.

The suspects were arrested by detectives from the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, of the Lagos State Police Command.

According to a friend who took to Twitter to demand justice for his killing, Dave was a sound engineer who was on his way to work with a colleague when he had an argument with a Hausa motorcycle rider.

According to the friend, the argument resulted in a fight as other okada riders of the same tribe joined and started beating the duo, tagging them ‘Yahoo Boys’.
