The Kaduna State Government has said it is investigating the claim of a woman in a viral video, that she vomited blood after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

The state government also assured that the result of the investigation will be made public.

A woman named Hanatu Tanko, had in a video posted on social media, said she vomited blood after taking the vaccine at Kaduna South secretariat.

It was said that the video prompted the state’s ministry of health to send their epidemiology to ascertain the woman’s health condition.

Amina Mohammed Boloni, the state’s Commissioner for Health, disclosed the reaction of the ministry on her Twitter handle.

According to her, over 72,000 persons have so far been vaccinated in the state, and that the ministry has equally investigated three instances of serious adverse reactions.

“We have investigated three instances of serious adverse reactions.

“The case of the woman in the viral video is also being investigated and the results will be made public,” she said.
