The All Progressives Congress’s (APC) candidate in the Kogi supplementary poll, Yahaya Bello, is in an early over Peoples Democratic Party’s Idris Wada. Results compiled from some of the polling units where the polls were conducted shows that in Odo Ape Ward of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area where election is taking place in one unit, APC scored 41 votes against PDP’s 18 votes. APC also won by a margin of 3 votes in the unit where election took place at Ayetoro Kiri Ward. Vanguard also reported that APC is leading with a wide margin in some of the units in Kogi Central, the home of the party’s candidate. Voting and counting are still ongoing with a winner set to emerge today.
