Karim Benzema scored a late equaliser as Real Madrid forced city rivals Atletico Madrid to a 1-1 draw in a feisty Madrid Derby in La Liga played at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Benzema had been denied the opportunity to score several times by keeper Jan Oblak, who was in fine form.
The French striker, however, got the equaliser in the 88th minute after combining with Brazilian midfielder Casemiro.
Atletico remain atop the table, three points clear of Barcelona with a game in hand.
Real remain in third position, five points behind Atletico.
