A 24-year-old factory worker, Nwakaego Ugochukwu, was arraigned before an Ikeja magistrate court on Tuesday for performing lesbianism act with a five-year-old girl in Lagos State.

The Prosecutor, Eruada Victor, told the court that the incident happened at Canal Estate, Ago Okota, Lagos, where she sexually assaulted the girl. He said ugochukwu repeatedly dipped her fingers into the private part of the five-year-old girl and that the matter was reported to the police after the victim reported to her parents.

She pleaded not guilty and was admitted on bail by the presiding Magistrate, E.O. Ogunkanni, in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum. The case was adjourned till 15 June 2016 for further hearing.
