The Lagos Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, has Thursday commiserated with operatives of the State Neighbourhood Corps, LSNC, over the death of one of their colleagues, Moshood Bolaji.
The deceased was said to have been killed by a gang of five cultists at Umunede Bar, Mallam Isah close, Aguda-Surulere area of the state. The incident happened on Wednesday at about 9:30pm.
Chike Oti, the state police spokesperson, in a statement released on Thursday said the CP similarly paid a condolence visit to the deceased’s family.
In the message, the CP stated that the entire Lagos Police Command share in the family’s grief. He also assured them that the command will leave no stone unturned to unravel Bolaji’s killers.
Meanwhile, the commissioner has directed operatives of Special Anti Robbery Squad personnel (SARS) and Anti Cultism Squad to relocate to Census Police Outpost, Aguda-Surulere with immediate effect. He also mandated them to take the fight to the criminal enclaves of the cultists and fish out the killers of the deceased.
Also, three suspects have been arrested in connection with the case and are currently undergoing interrogation at the Command Anti Cultism Squad.
