The Lagos state Government has visited the six survivors of the chopper crash that occurred Wednesday in the state. The ill-fated chopper thought to have developed a fault in the air plunged into the Lagos Lagoon specifically at the Oworonshoki flank of the Third Mainland Bridge. Oluranti Adebule, deputy governor, who purportedly represented the state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, stopped at the Gbagada General Hospital, where four of the victims were.
“We have four of the survivors at the Gbagada General Hospital while two others are at a private hospital, Afolabi Medical Centre, where they are being attended to as a sort of first aid pending when their condition improves and they will be transferred to the General Hospital also”, Adebule told journalists during her hospital visit. There are reports that 12 people were on-board the chopper, four dead, six survived, and others yet to be recovered.
