Lagos #EndSARS Report: ‘You Cannot Clean Innocent Blood With Lie’, Burna Boy Mocks Lai Mohammed

Grammy Award winner, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has thrown a jibe at Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, following the submission of the report of the Lagos Judicial Panel of Inquiry concerning the shooting of #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate.

The panel in its report submitted to the Lagos State government stated that 48 persons were victims of the shooting, with nine killed, at the toll gate; and also classified the actions of the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force as a massacre.

Reacting to the development, the singer in a post on his Instagram story on Wednesday said he woke up to see that the government’s lies have finally been exposed to the general public.

Reacting further, Burna Boy threw a shade at the minister over his denial as he declared that there were no casualties and the Nigerian Army did not unleash mayhem on peaceful protesters.

Recall that the minister has always insisted that no one died in the Lekki Toll Gate shooting that happened on October 20, 2020.

He wrote: ‘’I just sleep wake up see say Government nyash open far and wide today.

‘’You cannot clean innocent blood with Lie Mohammed.’’
