The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team has launched a search for the baby in a disturbing video that showed a man putting weed in the mouth of an infant.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the agency condemned the man’s actions and asked anyone with information about the baby’s location to call its toll-free number.
“The attention of the agency has been drawn to a disturbing video posted by Kingbloggerload, @kbl_backup. Anyone with useful information about where this is happening, please call our toll free line 08000333333 or dm via our social media pages,” the tweet read.
The video, which surfaced on Monday night, sparked outrage among Nigerians, who labelled the man as highly irresponsible. Many demanded that the infant be rescued from the man immediately before things worsened.
