Lagos State government has revealed that it has commenced investigations into the unprofessional conduct of health workers that filmed the last moments of reality tv star Partick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey.

Making this disclosure shortly after the video surfaced online, Gbenga Omotoso, the state’s commissioner for information and strategy, announced that an investigation had been launched by the state government.

He revealed that the hospital where the incident occurred wasn’t a government-owned hospital.

Public outrage has been generated by a 30-second video clip depicting  Rico Swavey, a former reality TV star, in his last moments at a hospital in Lagos State.

The deceased Rico Swavey was put on oxygen while he was unconscious on a chair in the clip that was taken by one of the nurses caring for him.

When the nurse pulled out a phone and began recording him, it was seen that the nurses were attempting to carry him on a bed.

A different nurse could be heard advising her colleague not to do it.
