Lagos government said it had paid 324 retirees N891 million pensions arrears. The beneficiaries were the mainstream civil service, local governments, state universal basic education and other parastatals for the month of July, 2016. Folashade Onanuga, Director-General, State Pension Commission (LASPEC), at a recent Retirement Benefit Bond presentation ceremony, urged the retirees to use their funds wisely.
