Lawyers of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, have filed a suit before the Federal High Court in Abuja ordering Tukur Buratai, a Lieutenant General and Chief of Army Staff, to produce Kanu in court. The legal team, led by Ifeanyi Ejiofor, revealed this to told The Punch via a text message.
The lawyers stated that Kanu was last seen on September 14, 2017 by the soldiers when they invaded his residence in Afara-Ukwu Ibeku in Umuahia, the Abia state capital.
