A Lebanese man, identified as Wael Jerro, on Tuesday, put a Nigerian lady, Busari Peace Ufuoma, up for sale on Facebook.

Jerro, who resides in Beirut, Lebanon, uploaded an image, alongside the data page of the 32-year-old Nigerian on a Facebook group, called ‘Buy and Sell In Lebanon (Original).’
He also placed a $1,000 bill on the domestic worker, saying she is very active and clean.
Information on the passport, which was acquired in May 2018, indicated that the victim hails from Ibadan, Oyo State.
The incident, which generated reactions, was brought to light by an Instagram user, @thereneeabisaad, who called on the Nigerian government to save the victim.
“This is inhuman. I have reported to the Nigerian embassy. Please do the same if you know anyone in the Nigerian embassy in Lebanon,” she wrote.
Reacting to the development on Twitter, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairman, Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission, said the case has been reported to the Nigerian mission in Lebanon, adding that a manhunt for the culprit is underway.
She said: “The Nigerian mission in Lebanon has since reported to the host authorities.
“A manhunt is on for the man and all out search for the young girl. Let’s keep her in our prayers.”
It was later discovered that culprit has deleted his Facebook account.
