Leicester City captain Westley Nathan “Wes” Morgan has signed a new three year contract with the club. The 32-year-old Jamaican was pivotal to the Foxes march to the title last season. He formed a solid partnership with Germany’s Robert Huth.
“To commit my future to Leicester City is a wonderful feeling.
“Everyone knows how I feel about playing for this club and with my team-mates so I’m proud to have the chance to carry on wearing the shirt long term.
Morgan has gone on to make 196 appearances for the Foxes, scoring eight goals. Leiester manager Claudio Ranieri has expressed excitement at the defender’s new deal. He said the team was happy he decided to stay put.
