A pregnant woman has been struck by lightning as she was walking through violent storms with her mother in Florida, United States. The woman, Meghan Davidson,26, was said to have been in a critical when she was rushed to hospital last Thursday while doctors delivered her baby during an emergency operation.
Her condition has been described as serious on Monday with her baby’s condition unknown. Reports say she remains responsible as her eyes twitch each time her husband called her name.
Two people have died after being struck by lightning in Florida this year. Jay Rodriguez of the Fort Myes Police Department has advised people to always go inside when a thunder strikes.
