Former Real Madrid winger, Royston Drenthe, has released a rap single. The former Netherlands player had endured over six months without a club and has settled for music. Drenthe, who also played for Everton, was released by his UAE club, Baniyas in July, 2016.
The 29-year-old, known as Roya2Faces in the music circle, released the song, ‘Paranoia’, on his Youtube channel. Back in 2014, Drenthe, who began his career with Feyenoord, recorded ‘Tak Takie’ with his friend U-Niq, a rapper from Rotterdam.
Drenthe joined Real Madrid in 2007 and made 65 appearances for the Spanish giants before joining Hercules on loan in 2010. He then moved to Everton and scored four times in 27 appearances for the Toffees. Ducthman Drenthe then signed for Spartak Vladikavkaz in Russia before returning to England with Reading and Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.
